KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – An incident involving a fatal shooting took place in Grain Valley on Wednesday afternoon.
In the vicinity of NW Scenic Lane and NW Baytree Drive, it appeared to have taken place inside a white duplex. A few blocks to the north are the neighbourhood and the 40 Highway.
Just before one o’clock, the gunshot call was made. When the cops arrived, they discovered one dead man.
According to the police, there is no suspect they are looking for. At one time, a police van was spotted transporting someone.
Officers were seen at another time removing a pistol from the roadway.
Police are asking witnesses about what occurred. What caused the incident is still being looked into.
Nathan Vickers of KCTV5 was informed by neighbours that there had been a brawl or dispute before gunshots were heard.
Ben Ditsch, who arrived home to view the crime scene close to his residence, stated, “It’s horrible to learn that someone lost their life over something that didn’t need to happen.” We wished it wouldn’t take place.

The family that resided in the duplex, according to him, had only done so for a brief period of time.
In a long time, there hasn’t been a homicide in the Gran Valley, according to Ditsch. Just a sad day, that’s all.
The police department reports that Grain Valley hasn’t experienced a homicide in the past two years.
It was clear that a group of persons who claimed to be family members were mourning the loss of a loved one. However, they refused requests for media interviews.
