Guilt Season 2 Storyline
The second season of Guilt starts when Max gets out of prison after two years and tries to put his life back together. Max can’t go back to his old job, and his brother Jake now lives in Chicago, so he realises he will have to work for Kenny Burns, a private detective who used to work with him but is now sober.
Mark says, “In the first series, he had everything. In this series, he has nothing at all” (who plays Max McCall). “In a way, we see him at his weakest and most exposed. He’s back to using his wits to survive but in a different way. At first, I think he was just using Kenny to get ahead. He has to start from the bottom, and Kenny is at the bottom, so Max puts up with him. But I think Max starts to respect Kenny and even like him in a way as time goes on. They go on a beautiful journey.”
Over in another part of town, Erin, who just moved there, has her own life-changing moment when a stranger breaks into her house. She has to face a part of her past that she had hoped to leave behind because of a split-second choice, which brings her into Max’s orbit.

Guilt Series 3: When Will It Release?
You’ll have to be patient, especially since these shows always air first overseas before they come to PBS in the United States. We hope that Guilt will come back at some point in 2023, but a lot will depend on what else is on the air and what needs to be done with programming.
