Michael Wilson Hardy, better known by his stage name HARDY, is a country singer-songwriter who made the announcement on social media that he and three other people were engaged in a tour bus accident over the weekend.
On Sunday, he penned the following: “On the way back to Bristol after the concert that we attended last night, our tour bus was involved in an accident. Even though there were only four of us on the bus, including me, we were all sent to the hospital for treatment of major wounds.”
After that, HARDY asked for prayers for the bus driver, whom he referred to as “our friend,” who is still receiving treatment at the hospital. He added that his family was there with him while he was being treated and that everyone was cheering for and praying for him.
The singer-songwriter has been on tour throughout the summer, but he has informed his fans that his recuperation from the accident may require him to postpone or cancel a couple of his future performances.
The man, who is 32 years old, concluded his message by assuring everyone that they will be kept up to date and then said, “God bless our medics and local and state officials for their rapid reaction and wonderful service.”

An update on HARDY’s condition was posted on social media, and it stated that the doctors have urged him to rest “for the next two weeks.”
It is presently unknown if the performer will be able to take the stage for the following event, which is planned to take place on October 8 and feature Morgan Wallen. On his Instagram Stories, Wallen shared an image that HARDY had previously uploaded.
Although it is possible that HARDY may be forced to skip that show, his official website indicates that the beginning of December will mark the beginning of his next string of performances, which means that he should have plenty of time to relax before then.
After announcing the news on his other platforms, HARDY then shared a photo of himself and his fiancee, Caleigh Ryan, on Instagram Stories along with the caption, “Just got engaged!” “I am grateful for all of the phone calls and texts you’ve sent. I am still here, and that is the only thing that truly counts. I adore you all.”
HARDY’s sister, Madison Hardy Dennis, also posted online about the accident and asked for people to pray for those involved “Please say some prayers for the health of Michael, Tanner, and Noah, and especially for Ricky, who was Michael’s bus driver. Because life is so precarious, treasure the people you care about.”
