CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A pickup truck with four passengers inside, including two children, was hit by a shot that was fired during a road rage incident on Interstate 90 in Lake County on Monday. The incident, which happened at around 5:40 p.m., left no one hurt, but no one has been taken into custody, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, a silver Subaru was following a 2014 Nissan Titan pickup truck that was moving slowly in the left lane of I-90 about two miles east of Ohio 44. The pickup’s driver claims to have touched the brakes numerous times while the Subaru’s driver was behind the wheel, eventually passing the pickup in the right lane.

According to officials, the Subaru accelerated alongside to the pickup truck in the right lane as it moved back into the left lane. The pickup truck passenger and the driver of the Subaru started communicating with “words and gestures.”
According to reports, the driver of the Subaru produced an unidentified pistol and fired a shot, which reportedly struck the right front fender of the truck above the wheel well. The pickup left the interstate at Ohio 44 in Concord Township as the Subaru continued to go west on I-90.
