A reader emailed FOX 35 News a video that appears to show a bear roaming through a Florida neighborhood. Using a drone, David Harrison captured the bear near Lake Placid, Highlands County. The bear can be seen beginning the video by jogging along a track before turning a corner and taking a leisurely stroll behind some houses.
Harrison, a resident of Brevard County, was on his way to work when he caught a glimpse of something in a forested area. He explains, “I stopped and said hello there is a gigantic bear across the street from you. It raced into there and there was a couple right there on the corner doing a yard sale.

Harrison then pulled out his drone and began to record the animal. The bear, he added, was around the size of a small cow. “I thought I was seeing things because I saw an alligator it’s not really… that strange,” he said. It was incredible,
Harrison claimed to have had several peculiar wildlife experiences in Florida. In October, he returned from work and discovered a snake on the hood of his truck. A bird was on his hood when he returned from the grocery store about a week earlier.
