Is Wynonna Judd Sick?
Wynonna Judd became irritated as she talked about how hard it is for her to celebrate the holidays while still mourning the loss of her mother. Wynonna Judd discovered how tough the holidays can be after the death of a close family member.
The 58-year-old country music diva discussed the difficulties she encountered when hosting her family for Thanksgiving and how the loss of her mother, Naomi, in April altered her life forever.
The Judds: The Final Tour features Wynonna Judd and the rest of the band. At first, people thought her mother, Naomi, was accompanying her, but Naomi died in April at the age of 76 following a long bout with mental illness.
Wynonna Judd Health
After Naomi Judd died in 2021, fans have been keeping a careful check on Wynonna. That’s why it was so alarming to her fans in Dayton, Ohio when she suddenly jumped during her recent live performance.
I am absolutely heartsick to hear the news about Naomi Judd. My heart and my prayers go out to Wynonna, Ashley Judd, and all of us friends and fans who loved and respected her so much. She is irreplaceable — a country music legend will never be forgotten. pic.twitter.com/PUI79HNqJX

Wynonna can be heard stating, “Hang on a moment,” in a concert TikTok. I feel faint. I need someone to come up here kindly. Please wait a minute. I need to drink some water, and I’m having a rough period.

The video also shows the performer providing context by suggesting to the audience, “If I faint, just take a lot of photographs, okay?” To keep the performance going, Wynonna also refused to sit down on a chair that was given to her.
She sang despite her dizziness and continued serving “Grandpa” until she passed out. Little Big Town and Martina McBride later introduced the star as they took the stage.
An Update on Wynonna Judd’s Health
Well, I bet Wynonna Judd didn’t plan on her 2023 beginning this way.
Wynonna, as half of the mother-daughter combo The Judds, is carrying on her mother’s musical tradition. The country music duet had planned their farewell tour before Wynonna’s mother’s death in April 2022, and she vowed to go through with the time despite her grief.
The “Love Can Build A Bridge” singer said on Instagram that she had been hospitalized shortly before a concert in Nashville:
Wynonna’s Musical Journey Beginnings
At an early age, Wynonna was inspired to pursue music by her mother, Naomi Judd, a country music singer in her own right. They were known as “The Judds,” a famous mother-daughter duo, in the 1980s.
Their ability to instantly connect with listeners through their beautiful harmonies and sincere songwriting earned them a slew of accolades, including multiple Grammys and a slew of Country Music Association (CMA) honors.
With songs like “Mama He’s Crazy,” “Why Not Me,” and “Grandpa (Tell Me ‘Bout the Good Old Days),” the Judds demonstrated their incredible vocal chemistry and storytelling skills to great acclaim.
Wynonna’s Solo Career
The beginning of Wynonna’s solo career was explosive, and she rapidly became a significant player in the country music scene. Her first solo album, 1992’s “Wynonna,” featured the Top 40 songs “She Is His Only Need” and “I Saw the Light.”
