Education and Getting Started
Joe spent his high school years at State College Area. Machi was a bashful teenager who spent much of his time in isolation. In 1997, he completed high school and graduated. Machi worked as a grocery customer service representative after finishing high school.
Machi also dabbled with the human resources department of a media organization for a short while. Machi enrolled at Penn State in the future and ultimately graduated in 2002. Machi said in an interview that he wanted to do stand-up comedy but couldn’t find a venue on campus.
