No one outside of Duke University knows how much the head coach is received. Jon Scheyer, age 33, is also a Coach K. In the year 1987, on April 17th, he was born in the city of Northbrook, Illinois.
After finishing high school at Glenbrook North in 2005, he went on to Duke University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 2009. He played college basketball with the Duke Blue Devils and was honored as the conference’s and the nation’s best player in 2010.
He played in the NBDL and then for Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel after graduating from college, and then he came back to the United States to become a coach. His coaching career with the Duke Blue Devils began in 2014 when he was hired as an assistant coach and continued through 2018 when he was promoted to Associate Head Coach.

USA Today analyzed a database of NCAA head coach salaries and determined that Duke University Blue Devils men’s basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski earned $7. 3 million for the 2019-20 season.
Coach K now earns more than any other college basketball coach in the country. Since 1980, Krzyzewski has served as the head basketball coach for the North Carolina State University system, making him the highest-paid public employee in the state of North Carolina.
Coach K is one of the highest-paid people in collegiate sports since he also makes money through endorsements and other businesses. An extension to Coach K’s contract was reportedly finalized in December 2019, keeping him at Duke at least until the 2026-2027 season.

Julia Scheyer is Jon’s wife. On August 2, 2013, the couple tied the knot in Six Mile, South Carolina, close to Lake Keowee. After Julia completed her biology degree at Binghamton University in 2010, the two finally crossed paths.
