On Sunday evening, law enforcement was engaging in a manhunt for a Kalispell man suspected in an armed robbery. Shortly after 9 o’clock in the evening, police from the Kalispell Police Department and the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office began after the vehicle. Sheriff Brian Heino of Flathead County said the incident involved a stolen vehicle and an armed robbery suspect from Kalispell’s Main Street.

An official press release states that the pursuit took place on US Highway 93 and through parts of Kalispell at rates of 75 to 95 miles per hour. An officer with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office used stop sticks to bring the vehicle to a halt at mile marker 76 on Highway 93, not far from where the highway meets Montana Highway 28.
They were all taken into custody, according to Sheriff Heino, and brought to the Kalispell Police Department. As a result of the event, Sean Edwards was detained and charged with violating his parole. Police in Kalispell is looking into the robbery while the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the stolen car.
