Kevin Turen Death: The Idol and Euphoria’s producer, Kevin Turen, passed away. It was 44—sudden death over the weekend for Turen. As of right present, the cause of his death is unknown. The producer leaves behind two boys, James and Jack, and his wife, Evelina.
“This world is going to be less without Kevin; he was so incredibly special,” said his father, Edward Turen, in a statement on Sunday night.
Turen produced Wassup Rockers, directed by Larry Clark, and went on to produce Malcolm and Marie, Trey Shultz’s Waves, Arbitrage, Nicholas Jarecki, Nate Parker, The Birth of a Nation, Pieces of a Woman, 99 Homes, and Ti West’s X trilogy. Turen also collaborated with Sam Levinson on these projects.

Turen worked on television on shows including Olivier Assayas’s Irma Vep and Levinson’s Euphoria and The Idol. Kevin’s primary love was his family and friends, despite his many accomplishments in Hollywood, according to his close friend and CEO of Deadline’s parent company PMC, Jay Penske.
