READING, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Following a shooting that took place this past weekend close to Kutztown University, it has been determined that the death of a Reading resident who was 18 years old was a homicide.
The student apartment complex known as Advantage Point, which is located away from the main campus, was rocked by gunfire shortly before 1 a.m. on Saturday.
The victim, identified as Diego Velazquez, was unable to survive the shooting and passed away as a result. He was not a student at Kutztown University.
Alex Lyons claims that she was present on the floor of the apartment where the shooting had a place.
