According to a Lake County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, a two-vehicle collision left one male and one lady injured. Police were called to a two-vehicle accident at North Ridge Road and Sivon Drive in Painesville Township around 3:35 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office. According to the accident investigation, a red 2022 Dodge Charger was approaching Sivon Drive while traveling west on North Ridge Road.
Near Sivon Drive, a blue 2017 Mazda 3 was traveling east on North Ridge Road. According to the sheriff’s office, the Dodge Charger went off the road, struck a fire hydrant, and came to rest against a power pole before rolling onto its driver-side door. The Mazda 3’s female driver suffered injuries and was brought to Tri-Point Medical Center for treatment. According to the sheriff’s office, the driver of the Dodge Charger required mechanical assistance to be freed.
