The Lake County Solid Waste District and the Lake County Department of Utilities have teamed up to construct a drop-off spot at the Landfill and Recycling Center in Painesville Township. Repurposed at 2039 Blase Nemeth Road, it will be a one-stop-shop for locals to recycle and dispose of rubbish in one trip.
This update also expands hours and days, allows for credit card payments, and allows trailers to be used to transport several things to the facility. Residents can use this permanent recycling drop-off station from June 6 to August 31 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
