Georgia’s GWINNETT County – On Wednesday morning, lanes on Interstate 85 in Gwinnett County have been reopened, but there are still significant delays. Immediately following the clearing of a significant collision involving numerous tractor trucks on Interstate 85 in Gwinnett County, another incident resulted in additional lane closures.
The numerous tractor-trailer collision on Wednesday morning took a few hours to clear, but a car then stuck. On I-85, three right lanes were blocked by the stall. Around 8 a.m., the vehicle shifted, and all lanes were once again available. Around 6:30 a.m., SKYFOX flew above Beaver Ruin Road at I-85 south and observed many tractor trailers in a crash, with all lanes closed.

A truck slammed the median after jackknifing. One of the tractor-trailers’ backs may have been struck by a truck. According to Gwinnett County police, some petroleum may have leaked into the road. Past Old Peachtree Road on I-85 and the westbound lanes of Georgia Highway 316, there were significant delays on I-85 south. If the delay continues, think about taking Satellite Boulevard or Buford Highway as a detour.
