This spring, Lil Wayne will embark on the “Welcome to Tha Carter Tour,” a 28-city trek throughout North America. The journey will begin on April 4 at the Fillmore in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and over the following month and a half, Wayne will travel across the United States and Canada. The series will finally end at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 13.
This Friday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m. local time, tickets for all performances will go on sale through Ticketmaster.com. The website of Lil Wayne has all the details. The news of the Welcome to Tha Carter Tour comes as Lil Wayne gets ready to be recognized at the Recording Academy’s annual Black Music collective event, which will take place on February 2, three days before the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Wayne, a four-time Grammy winner, will share the Global Impact Award with Missy Elliott and Dr. Dre, two of his well-known contemporaries. Thanks to his verse on DJ Khaled’s (Twitter) “God Did,” Lil Wayne may add a few more Grammys to his tally this year. Three prizes, including Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song, were up for nomination.
