Locke And Key Season 4: If you’re a fan of Locke & Key on Netflix, you may be disappointed to learn that the show won’t be renewed for a fourth season. Due to the MCU’s popularity, comic book movies and television shows have become increasingly common. When comparing Netflix’s comic book adaptations to Marvel’s, the former usually comes out on top due to the slew of new episodes including magic and superheroes that are unlike anything in the MCU. Case in point: Locke & Key, influenced by the noir comics of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.
In the show, a family moves into the Keyhouse, a house with a ghostly history for which they are entirely unprepared. The Locke children learn they are the Keepers of the Keys and must ensure that no evil can befall the planet should the magical keys ever be stolen. Locke & Key has an excellently imaginative feel to it, with a perfect balance of youthful wonder and eerie atmosphere. This third season of Locke & Key is the most action-packed one yet, with the Keyhouse’s power posing a global threat.

Locke And Key Season 4 Storyline
Dorothy and Ada, two sisters, try to capture Bode inside a snow globe, but Kinsey and Nina end up defeating them. At the same time, Tyler hasn’t come back to his house. Since he still can’t recall any of the magic, it looks like he won’t be attending Duncan’s upcoming nuptials. However, in the end, Tyler does return for Duncan’s wedding. Captain Frederick Gideon, who dislikes Earth so much that he wants to destroy it through a portal he plans to construct, feels the same way.
While Tyler is being beaten up by Captain Gideon’s goons James and Samuel, Bode discovers a Timeshift Key. Indeed, it is this assault that ultimately convinces Tyler to extend his time with the Lockes. As Nina’s romance with Josh deepens, so does Bode’s bratty behaviour. Kinsey and her friends throw Eden’s body into the water after discovering it in the well.
While Tyler has no recollection of the magic (yet), he is beginning to wonder about Kinsey’s odd behaviour. Bode brings Dodge into the current day since he disregarded Nina and Duncan’s warnings concerning the Timeshift Key. As a result, Dodge is able to ensnare Bode and assume control of his body.
Soon after, Captain Frederick Gideon enlists Dodge in the hopes that she will help him burglarize the Lockes’ headquarters and take all of their keys. By inhabiting Bode’s body, Dodge manages to raise a minor commotion. So much so that Rufus accurately guesses that Dodge is using Bode’s body. Nina discovers Dodge’s body under Bode’s bed but Rufus is too terrified, to tell the truth. Could this lead her to the truth? Yes, yes it could.
When confronted by the Lockes, Dodge admits that she is helping Captain Frederick Gideon’s enemies. She’s changed her mind about helping the Lockes, which comes as a big surprise. Still, the Lockes must ensure Dodge’s safety so that Bode has a body to return to. They need her on their side because they have no other option. However, the Lockes are left defenceless against the Captain after Dodge is banished from the present day by the sandbox’s magical powers.
After Captain Gideon pursues them into Goldie’s brain, Sam fights him and gives Tyler, Kinsey, and Ellie enough time to take the key, saving their lives. Sam’s efforts, however, guarantee that he will spend the rest of his life locked under a piano after Goldie’s death, just as he did in her mind.
In the end, the Lockes are able to push Captain Frederick Gideon through the portal despite his best efforts to open it. Since this is the case, they have finally vanquished him. However, once Tyler realises what happens when a key enters the portal, he begins to wonder if the family shouldn’t just throw all of the keys in there to put a stop to the chaos and misery the keys cause. After using one of the keys to reconcile with Rendall for the last time, the Locke family as a whole decides to toss the rest of the keys into the portal, despite Bode’s objections.

It has not yet been confirmed when Locke & Key Season 4 will be made available to the general public. It is anticipated that the television show Locke & Key will air its fourth season sometime in the year 2023. It’s possible that it will be available on Netflix much like the first season was.
