Japanese manga author Aka Akasaka created the romantic comedy series Kaguya-sama: Love Is War. It first debuted as a serial in Shueisha’s seinen manga publication Miracle Jump in May 2015, and in March 2016 it was moved to Weekly Young Jump. Viz Media holds the English language license for manga in North America. From January to March 2019, A-1 Pictures’ anime television adaptation aired in Japan. In 2020, a second season ran from April to June.
A third season ran from April to June of 2022, and an OVA episode was published in 2021. The next anime project has been revealed. In addition, a live-action movie starring Hayato Kawai was made from it and released in Japan in September 2019. Aniplex of America holds the North American rights to the anime series. Over 15 million copies of the manga were in circulation as of April 2021. Kaguya-sama: Love Is War won the general category of the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2020.

Love Is War Season 4 Storyline
As Nagisa, Kaguya, and Miko gather together at the beginning of the episode, Nagisa shares her feelings over being betrayed by her partner. She claims that she doesn’t believe her boyfriend is cheating on her because he was spending too much time with Shijo. Nagisa claims that after looking through his phone and seeing nothing untoward, she decided to put her trust in him. She began to doubt him once more after they went to the variety store and sang karaoke together.
Then Nagasa displays an image of Tsubasa and Shiju studying together. She claims that despite her best efforts, she was unable to assist him with his academics since he had discovered a female who received better grades. Nagisa ultimately makes the decision to confront her partner and confront him with the truth. It turns out that Tsubasa was looking for a wonderful gift for her sixth-month anniversary. Later, Maki admits to Miyuki and Hayato that she does like Tsubasa and would prefer for him to date her rather than Nagisa. Later, Kaguya overhears Miyuki and his buddies talking about a group date and becomes fixated on the conversation. When Kaguya inquires about what happens on a group date, Fujiwara responds that coin games are typically played. After that, Fujiwara instructs everyone to participate in a game in which they must select either a yes or a no to a question. Keeping the face of the coin up indicates yes, and the reverse indicates no. By inquiring about the person who harbors affection for her, Kaguya tries to get Miyuki to admit his love for her. But Miyuki changes the coin in a very cunning way. It’s now up to him to identify the cheater, but it turns out that Yuu and Chika were complicit as well.
