According to the Nassau County Police Department, a 19-year-old male was killed early on Tuesday morning after his car collided with two other vehicles in Lynbrook.
Just after midnight, police issued a statement in which they stated that an unidentified man was driving south on Ocean Avenue when his 2009 BMW “was in a collision” with a Nissan Pathfinder that was traveling northeast at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Peninsula Boulevard. The statement was made public.
After colliding with the Pathfinder, the BMW allegedly impacted a second car, a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck that was parked on Ocean Avenue facing northbound at a traffic light. According to the police, this second vehicle was damaged by the BMW.

According to the police, the driver of the BMW had “severe internal injuries” and was sent to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:25 in the morning.
According to the police, both of the people inside the Pathfinder, a 57-year-old male driver and a 51-year-old female passenger, as well as the man who was driving the pickup truck, who was 38 years old, all suffered from minor injuries.
