On Tuesday (September 6), French Montana revealed he was starting an addiction assistance service in memory of Mac Miller. Montana, who has struggled with substance abuse, discussed his new relationship with Guardian Recovery Services and NAQI Healthcare on the PEOPLE Everyday podcast. The goal of the cooperation is to provide supervised in-home detox programs for addicts.

French: “Being in that space and thinking of these artists as my brothers and my family, [Mac Miller’s death] hit me hard.” To lose one is to lose a damned near substantial portion of ourselves, he said.
