On Wednesday, EA unveiled Josh Allen as the cover athlete for Madden 24, and the game’s official trailer also went available. Fans are waiting impatiently for additional details about the game, which could have significant improvements over its predecessor.
Even though we have a few more months to wait before we can actually play the game, it doesn’t mean we can’t start getting excited about it now. The release of Madden 24 and the start of the NFL season are both imminent now that training camps have begun.

Madden 24 Release Date
There is an expected release date of August 18, 2023, for Madden 24. This coincides with the August 19 release date in 2022 and the August 20 release date in 2021 for Madden.
However, Madden 24 was officially released on June 7, announcing that Josh Allen will be featured on the game’s cover. Its teaser trailer was also unveiled.

The fresh additions to Madden 24
The additional features fans can look forward to were also detailed in EA Sports‘ release on June 7. The new tackling system would “highlight mismatches” and use many techniques, such as the leg-wrap tackle.
The passing game has become “more fluid,” enabling quarterbacks to hit moving receivers without stopping their forward movement. Dive catching has been added to the game as part of the updated catching system.
According to EA, ball carrying has been improved, with players being “more receptive to avoiding the defender.” Meanwhile, fumbles have been improved such that the player can tell the difference between an open-field recovery and a recovery where numerous players are vying for possession of the ball.
There has been an interesting expansion of celebrations in Madden 24. Even if it’s a crucial third-down stop, players who make plays that have a huge impact on the game will show greater passion after the play. EA has updated the playbooks for all 32 teams with 500 new plays.
There are now 25 additional minigames available in Franchise Mode, along with a fifth-year option and greater trade freedom. There had been rumors that EA would alter the game significantly this year.

Insider Gaming stated in February that this is a “make or break” edition of the game and that EA has “big plans,” so it’s safe to assume the business is hoping the additions made to Madden 24 will sway hesitant fans to buy it.
Aside from the game itself, EA has previously given a 50% discount on Madden 24 for anybody who had their save files deleted during a December update. FieldSENSE, which enhanced animations, and a few tweaks to franchise mode were among the new features introduced in the previous year.
Preseason Madden 24: A How-To Guide
Pre-ordering a version of Madden usually grants you early access, but details on this haven’t been announced yet. Those who preordered the All-Madden edition last year got to play the game three days before the general public.
Fans who preordered Madden 22 in 2021’s MVP or Dynasty editions got into the game three days early. Those who pre-order the game through EA Play also get 10 hours of early access, and their progress will be saved when the final version is released.
