According to the records, a man suspected of luring and sh00ting to de@th, a 38-year-old who has later discovered burned alive in Lake County in December 2021 has been apprehended. Darion McGee, age 30, was taken into custody by the Lake County sheriff’s office on Sunday.

An arrest document states that McGee was messaging and meeting with the victim, Mustafa Connelly, 38, to plan a robbery together. Mustafa Connelly was the one who was robbed.
According to the affidavit, Connelly was found dead in a burning orange Hyundai passenger vehicle on 1645 Veech Road, which is a location known locally as “the car wash,” on December 17, 2021, when the two met up to carry out the heist.

Connelly had been shot at least twice in the back when the two met up to carry out the robbery. McGee is charged with murder in the second degree for the incident.
