Around 1:15 p.m., the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrived. Tuesday, there was a report of gunfire in the 38900 block of North Lewis Avenue in Beach Park.

Three persons were discovered inside the car with gunshot wounds. According to a preliminary inquiry, the three victims and the shooting suspect met in the strip mall’s parking lot, Covelli said. After speaking for a while, the suspect and the three victims got into a fight.
According to Covelli, the culprit shot the victims many times while they were inside their car. Both the perpetrator and the victims drove away from the crime site in cars. Ambulances were used to take all three of them to nearby hospitals. Adult men were two of the gunshot victims. Both were in serious condition, with one being in a critical situation.
An adult woman is the third victim, and her health has subsequently stabilized. According to Lake County Chief Deputy Coroner Steve Newton, the male victim who was in critical condition passed away on Thursday at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Despite not seeming to be gang-related, the shooting was not thought to be random, according to Covelli.
