There is no proof that there was significant election fraud. Kari Lake (R), who came in second in the race for governor to Katie Hobbs (D), has refused to accept defeat and is asking her supporters to “fight.”
The local sheriff was informed of what Maricopa County Attorney Tom Liddy believed to be a threat from the Lake campaign, according to The Washington Post.
He claimed that a week earlier, a campaign lawyer for the Republican National Committee informed Liddy over the phone that “a lot” of Lake supporters were really “irate,” and the campaign was unable to “manage” them. It was about to be announced that Lake had lost her race.
