Mob Psycho 100 Season 3: Author and artist One created the Mob Psycho 100 manga series for the Japanese market. In 2018, Dark Horse Comics obtained a license to publish the manga in English in North America. At the same time, the anime series was licensed by Crunchyroll for streaming, and an English dub was developed by Bang Zoom! Entertainment in December 2016 for air on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in October 2018. Over 1.2 million copies of the manga had been printed as of July 2016. Mob Psycho 100 took home the prize for best shoujo manga at the 62nd annual Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2017. The anime version is widely regarded as among the best shows of its genre in 2010.

The mob is the alias that his friend, Shigeo Kageyama, gave him when he was in middle school. Although he gives off the impression of being a low-key individual, he is, in reality, a potent esper who possesses a significant amount of psychic strength. He keeps himself emotionally restrained in order to maintain control of this power and prevent it from slipping out of his grasp.
Mob offers his services as an assistant to Arataka Reigen, a con artist who poses as a spirit medium so that he can learn how to better handle the skills he possesses. Mob wants to live a normal life just like the others around him, but he continues getting in the way of a lot of problems that are being caused by other people. Mob’s strength is on the verge of bursting through its confines when he ultimately comes into contact with other espers like the Claws because he is bottling up his suppressed feelings and they are developing inside him gradually.
