ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — On Thursday, investigators in Orlando and Orange County are looking into a number of gunshots. There were two fatalities and a few injuries. Christian Smith stated. On Ponderosa Drive, a homeowner and another person got into some sort of argument at around 4 a.m. A man was slain after a shot was fired. It’s very early in their investigation, the deputies added.
On South Highland Avenue in Apopka, witnesses said there were additional gunshots fired three hours later, just after 7 a.m. The street is covered in evidence markings. The parked SUV has bullet holes, and the back glass is broken. A man in his 30s was shot, according to investigators, after someone in a car allegedly opened fire. He is anticipated to live.
Deputies arrived at the intersection of 28th and Rio in Orange County at roughly 8:30 a.m. At a house that had been said to be abandoned, a guy is discovered shot dead in a carport. No suspect details have been made public. Anthony McCall Nixon, who is 28 years old, was the victim.
The Orlando Police Department is attempting to pinpoint the location of one shooting. A young man was dropped off at Winnie Palmer Hospital shortly after two in the morning. He had received a chest shot. OPD reports that he has been taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, but the location of the gunshot is unknown. All inquiries are characterized as continuing. There have been no reported arrests.
