The MultiVersus open beta is now in early access, but to participate at this time you must obtain an invite or buy a Founder’s Pack. The primary MultiVersus open beta phase will be accessible to everyone on July 26 starting at 9 a.m. PDT, 12 p.m. EDT, and 5 p.m. BST on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. MultiVersus will now be available to all users for free, serving as a soft launch for the whole game even though it is still technically in open beta. What has changed in MultiVersus’ open beta?
Eight additional maps, including the Batcave (DC), Tree Fort (Adventure Time), and Scooby’s Haunted Mansion, will be available in the MultiVersus open beta at first (Scooby-Doo). The same cast of MultiVersus characters from the closed alpha is back, with The Iron Giant making a major appearance as a new fighter. They are an absolute unit, as you can see from the screen above, but there will be balancing to prevent them from annihilating any opposition.
From now until August 8, there are two options for the Preseason Battle Pass: a free option for all players and a premium one that can be purchased in-game. From August 9 onward, the entire Season 1 Battle Pass will be available, bringing over to the full game all the progress made during the early access and open beta periods.
