According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a guy from Orlando, Florida, who was 64 years old and had been struck while trying to cross State Road 436 in Orange County, passed on the next day.
According to the troopers, the collision took place on Friday, December 9 at approximately 7:24 p.m. close to the intersection of State Road 436 and Hanging Moss Road.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that a male from Orlando, age 28, was behind the wheel of a Mercury Grand Marquis that was heading southbound on State Road 436 in the outside lane as they approached Hanging Moss Road.

According to the troopers, the Orlando man, who was 64 years old, was walking west in the marked crosswalk on State Road 436 when he was struck by the Grand Marquis as the driver attempted to continue south on State Road 436.
The pedestrian was knocked down and eventually came to a stop on the west shoulder of State Road 436 at Hanging Moss Road after being struck. The individual suffered from what the Florida Highway Patrol referred to as “incapacitating injuries” and was sent to a nearby hospital.
On Saturday, December 10, the medical staff confirmed that the man from Orlando, who was 64 years old, had passed away.
