On Monday evening in Palatine, a Metra train collided with a vehicle; however, by the time emergency personnel arrived on the scene, the vehicle could not be located.
Just before 7:30 o’clock in the evening, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Brockway and Slade streets, according to the police.
