Launching on Netflix on August 31, 2018, was the first season of the American animated sitcom Paradise PD, produced by Waco O’Guin and Roger Black. The show stars Dana Snyder, Cedric Yarbrough, David Herman, Tom Kenny, Sarah Chalke, and Kyle Kinane. The sixth of March in 2020 saw the premiere of Season 2, while the twelfth of March in 2021 saw the premiere of Season 3.
A fourth and final season, confirmed by Netflix, will debut on the streaming service on December 16, 2022. Crime runs rampant in Paradise, California, and the local police force is woefully unqualified to deal with it, as seen in the Netflix original series Paradise PD. Chief Randall Crawford, Gina Janowski, Dusty Marlow, Stanley Hopson (an elderly pervert), Gerald “Fitz” Fitzgerald (a coward), Crawford’s son Kevin, and the drug-dependent dog Bullet make up the rest of the force.

Paradise PD Season 4 Storyline
“PARAD-ISIS” picks up on the anniversary of Dobby’s heroic self-sacrifice to rescue Paradise, which is easy to forget given he hasn’t featured this season and Delbert and Robby’s island utopia of Twatamala seems to have been forgotten about — until the end of this episode, at least.
Gina and Kevin’s quick romance stands out in the Season 3 finale. Since her operation, she’s no longer attracted to heavy males. She now feels normal and proposes to Kevin, who can’t believe his luck. Gina says that removing the bullet eliminated her rage, which hurt Randall. Randall thinks his useless, soft son has damaged his best officer, and they spend much of Paradise PD season 3, episode 12 at odds.
Elsewhere, we have the resolution of Bullet being Fitz’s father and Agent Clappers’ revenge scheme, which concludes the arc effectively. Clappers reveal Junior’s parentage after the mutants take him to lead Fitz into his trap. Fitz knew, and his sympathy for bullet and the infant in Clappers’ mutant machine cures all the townsfolk’s mutations, unwittingly supporting Karen’s restoration efforts.

Dusty joins ISIS thinking he’s joining a gym, and Randall sends him undercover. He and the terrorists arrive at Kevin and Gina’s wedding after they’ve eloped, so Kevin must emotionally shoot Gina in the head to turn her normal. He knows he’s sacrificing their love for their friends and family, but he does it anyway, and Gina effortlessly destroys an alternate ISIS made out of all the show’s mocked celebs.
Gina leaves just before Paradise is reconstructed and Dobby starts rampaging around the town. Randall’s attempts to comfort Dobby with “Pump Up The Jam” backfire and Karen fires him. Dobby eats Hopson, Fitz, and possibly others. Season 4?!
It’s probably too much, and Paradise PD jumps around a lot, developing these threads here and there but mostly killing time with extended bits designed to offend everyone; one episode, in particular, will cause NRA supporters to go into a panic, revealing the show to be more left-leaning than it might appear given how aggressively it attacks race, body image, s*xuality, gender, and pretty much every other divisive issue.
While none of this is inherently wrong, it does lack a central narrative, making it feel less focused than it otherwise would. Nonetheless, longtime followers won’t feel out of place.
