PINE CITY, Minn. (FOX 9) – An accident that occurred early on Saturday morning in Northern Minnesota resulted in the loss of two young adults and the injury of two others. Just before 2 o’clock in the morning, deputies from the Pine County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash involving a single car that occurred in Pine City on Pokegama Lake Road and Fairway Road South West.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies found a female victim aged 20 years old and a male victim aged 18 years old who had both already passed away at the scene. It is currently unknown how severe the injuries the 18-year-old patient sustained or what his present status is; however, he was taken to North Memorial Hospital.

A woman in her 19th year was evaluated and treated at the scene for injuries that were not specifically described. The identity of the four people who were involved will not be made public by the authorities until their families have been notified. At this moment, the authorities have not provided any information regarding what caused the fatal collision.
