After a shooting late Sunday night in downtown Orlando injured a man and a woman, police reported they had apprehended the shooter. Just before midnight, a gunshot occurred at South Court Avenue and East Pine Street; the suspect, later identified as 32-year-old Wulner Durand, was apprehended after escaping the scene, according to police.
According to Orlando police, many gathered in a street after a brawl started. Two individuals were shot when Durand opened fire, according to the police. The woman was discovered with a gunshot wound in front of 23 S. Court Ave., according to the department. After being grazed by a bullet, the man was found inside Celine nightclub at 22 S. Magnolia Ave., according to police.

An employee at Celine who worked there on Sunday night and requested to remain anonymous told News 6 that the argument started because two men were fighting over a woman. The worker added that the victim of the gunshot wound worked at the nightclub’s front door.

According to authorities, the victims were transferred to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds. According to sources, Durand was found with a gun close to East Church Street and South Orange Avenue.
According to police, Durand is facing numerous charges, including carrying a hidden weapon and two counts of aggravated violence with a firearm. He is currently being held in the jail in Orange County.
