According to a press release issued by the TPD, police responded to the Redpoint Apartments at about 6:30 a.m. They came upon a man with gunshot wounds in his body. Trying to save the man’s life, police officers immediately administered medical aid.
Despite the efforts put forth, the severity of the injuries sustained proved fatal. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and as a result, the incident became a homicide under investigation by authorities in the area.
