Preston Wayne Freddie Palanio, a Coeur d’Alene Hockey Association (CDAHA) player from Port Falls, Idaho, passed away at the early age of 13 in what appears to have been a suicide. Preston Palanio tragically lost suddenly on May 25, 2022, according to his obituary page. On March 26, 2009, Preston was conceived.
Following the untimely passing of Preston Wayne Freddie Palanio, the Coeur d’Alene Hockey Association published a message referring to him as a “competitive hockey player.” “This week, the CDAHA family experienced the heartbreaking loss of one of our own, Preston Palanio,” the statement stated. Preston was a dedicated hockey player who always put his team first.

“If Preston has impacted your heart in any way, or you would just like to come to support our family, please come to my son’s service and help us say goodbye to the only boy that holds my heart,” Jason Palanio wrote in a post about his life celebration. One Place Church will hold services this Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11:00 AM.
He also confirmed that a graveside funeral was held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Kellogg, Idaho, at 3:00 PM. Before the ceremony, there will be a viewing for anyone who wants to say farewell in person to Preston One Place Church from 9:00 to 11:00.
We appreciate all of you who have texted, called, and delivered gifts, food, and flowers to Teegan and me. I miss Preston, who is my best friend. Preston wouldn’t have it any other way, so we look forward to providing him with the biggest and greatest funeral we can. So, Jason said, please come and join us.
