Queensbury Shooting: After a shooting incident in the parking lot on Sunday afternoon, the Walmart in Queensbury located on Route 9 was forced to temporarily lock its doors. After getting a complaint about a guy who had been shot in the hip, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene just before 4:00 PM. When they arrived, they found the man dead.
The victim sustained a wound that required medical attention, which is currently being provided for him at the hospital. The Sheriff’s Office did not provide any specific information regarding the condition of the shooting victim.
The New York State Police are providing assistance to the department in the process of identifying a suspect and maybe providing a vehicle description. They have stated that the inquiry is still ongoing; nevertheless, they do not feel that there is a current danger to the general public.

A spokeswoman for Walmart stated that the company was aware of the occurrence but did not have any comment on the topic because it is now under investigation by the authorities. The proprietor of the store claims that the story has reopened and that it will be business as usual tomorrow.
