Year 7: Season 2 of Rainbow Six Siege has been revealed by Ubisoft. It’s time for a new season of the game, with new operators, a new team deathmatch map, a new reputation system, and more. Rainbow Six Siege’s second season of Year 7 will begin on June 7 with Operation Vector Glare. Introducing Sens, a new Belgian attacking Operator who uses their ROU Projector System gadget to generate opaque light walls that impede the Defenders’ eyesight and open up new tactical chances for the Attackers.
Sens will be introduced in this episode. The high-capacity POF-9 assault rifle that Sens brings with him will be accessible at launch as part of the Vector Glare Battle Pass and unlocked two weeks later using Renown or R6 Credits. Sens will likewise be available in the game two weeks after debut. There are several new features and changes to look forward to in the upcoming season, including information on the Squad Up Reactivation program, which lets you earn free Operators by reactivating your previous teammates.

Release Date
On June 7, 2022, the official release of Rainbow Six Siege Year 7 Season 2 will take place on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
New Operator Sens
Rainbow Six Siege introduces a new character, Belgian Operator Sens. In addition to the POF-9 or 417, Sens carries either an SDP 9MM or GONNE-6 as a supplementary weapon, making him a low-speed, high-health operator. The R.O.U. Projector System is a gizmo developed by Sense that uses a wheel to transport miniature projectors and then self-destructs after a certain period of time.
New Team Deathmatch Map
At the start of the season, a brand-new Team Deathmatch map, Sens, will be available exclusively in the mode. This is the first Team Deathmatch map that emphasizes movement rather than defense setups, and it’s called Close Quarters.
Reputation System
The first phase of Ubisoft’s Reputation System, which will help players improve their behavior, is also being introduced today.
Those who injure too many teammates will have Reverse Friendly Fire active by default in this update. Two warnings are given before the penalty is imposed, and fines are lifted after a number of matches without harming a teammate.
In the future, the match cancellation system will be improved to provide players more control over the entire process, from making the initial request to actually canceling the match. In addition, the Choices menu now includes privacy options for all players.
Ubisoft Confirms Rainbow Six Siege New Season Delay
Ubisoft has stated that the new season of Rainbow Six Siege and Operation Vector Glare will not be available on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, as previously announced. There will be no access on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or PC as a result of this on all platforms. However, the official R6 website still displays Vector Glare’s release date as June 2022, so we don’t know when the update will be accessible to download and play.
An issue that would have caused problems for players was mentioned by Ubisoft as the reason for the delay, and they promised to announce a new release date as soon as possible. There has been a problem with the player experience so we’ve chosen to postpone the release of Vector Glare until we can fix it, which is what Ubisoft explains in its entire statement released today. “We’ll let you know as soon as we can about the new date.”
