Andy Cohen stated that filming for the third season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had already begun prior to the airing of the season two reunion episode. During the first week of February, Cohen gave an interview to Entertainment Tonight in which he stated, “The reunion concluded with the remaining women in a very dramatic situation where you don’t know what’s going to happen.”
I’m glad there are cameras on them now because it’s already getting started and there’s a lot going on, and I’m glad we’re there shooting right now. “So I’m glad there are cameras on them now.” We followed the same strategy with Beverly Hills, where we began shooting the new season not too long after the reunion, and it was successful in both situations.
It is highly likely that the trial of Jen Shah, which was originally scheduled to begin on March 7, was the reason why the production schedule was accelerated. Since then, a judge has moved the start date of the trial to the 11th of July, and seasons of Real Housewives typically only film for three to four months at a time. It is therefore possible that the cameras used by Bravo are not picking up the storyline that they were intended to.
Even so, there has been a significant amount of conflict unfolding in the present, including the departure of two cast members. Here is what we currently know about the upcoming third season of RHOSLC.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 Premiere Date
Even though Cohen has given an unofficial confirmation that RHOSLC will be renewed for a second season, Bravo has not yet made the announcement, and it is likely that they won’t do so until about a month or so before the premiere of the new season. RHOSLC Season 2 began airing in the middle of September, so it is likely that the new season will also premiere in late summer. However, due to the slightly moved-up production schedule, the premiere date could shift slightly earlier.
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 Expected Plot?
The third season of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is “Real Housewives,” so anything could happen. Andy Cohen, the show’s executive producer, did give us a taste of what’s to come when he announced that production on Season 2 had officially begun. “The women who stayed behind at the reunion are in a dramatic spot where their future is uncertain. So I’m glad that we’re there shooting right now, because it’s already getting started and there’s a lot going on, “In February of 2022, Cohen dropped a hint on Entertainment Tonight.
Cohen seemed to suggest that they wanted to show the full impact of Jen Shah’s case on the show, saying, “We did something similar with Beverly Hills, where we started shooting the new season fairly soon after we shot the reunion and in cases like both of those, it really paid off.” It’s possible, though, that fans won’t get as much footage of Shah’s legal troubles as they’d hoped. According to a March 2022 report from Radar Online, the trial’s start date has been pushed back to July 2022. It’s unclear if filming for Season 3 of “RHOSLC” will continue at that point, but even if it does, we can expect plenty of drama regardless of what happens with Shah.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 Cast
Along with Jen, rumor has it that Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, and Meredith Marks will also be back. Some new faces have been added to the cast, though it’s unclear if they’ll be sticking around. In early March, Radar Online reported that Tyna Edwards, a high-end real estate agent, and Angie Katsanevas, the owner of a thriving salon, were spotted on set with the rest of the RHOSLC cast.
According to the Queens of Bravo Instagram account, the rumored newcomer tried out for the show in 2019 after Heather suggested it, and the account features photos of Angie with the RHOSLC women. It was also reported by the same fan account that Lisa’s ex-friend Angie Harrington will make an unspecified return in some capacity, which was based on information from multiple sources.
