The Florida Commission on Ethics says that DeSantis’s net worth has gone up from $291,449 to $348,832 since December 2019. FCE data shows that he has a governor’s salary of $134,181, $235,000 in a USAA account, and $105,755 in a government retirement plan called a thrift savings plan. He has another $30,302 in the Florida Retirement System.

Ron Desantis Early Life
He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 14, 1978. He graduated from Dunedin High School in 1997 and went to Yale University, where he studied history, played baseball, and joined the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. After he graduated from Yale, he taught history for a short time before going to Harvard Law School to get his JD.
DeSantis joined the Navy while he was still in school and went to Naval Justice School. During his time in the military, he worked with prisoners at the Guantanamo Bay Joint Detention Facility, went to Iraq as an advisor to SEAL Team One, and was an assistant U.S. attorney until his honourable discharge in February 2010.
