The fatal car accident that occurred on Tuesday in Bergen County resulted in the deaths of two people, according to the local authorities.
According to Chief Brian Lyman, officers from the Ramsey Police Department responded to a crash that occurred on Route 17 North near Lake Street in Ramsey.
According to Lyman, the accident included only one vehicle, which veered off the road and collided with a tree. He went on to say that the car had been occupied by two people, a man, and a lady, both of whom were located dead at the scene of the accident.

“At this moment there is no indication that there was any foul play involved,” Lyman added, “but, we have not determined the cause of the crash as of yet.”
Officials have announced that Route 17 North would remain closed as they continue their investigation.
