The statement said, including a picture of Baron Cohen and Fisher decked out in white tennis clothes, “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage.”
The ex-couple said, “We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”
Following the announcement of Baron Cohen and Fisher’s divorce, news outlets were informed by another insider that Baron Cohen “had been talking to divorce lawyers in the summer of 2023.”
According to the informant, the couple had previously considered a possible divorce and had contacted divorce attorneys “several years prior.”
Years before each actor became well-known for their roles on television, Baron Cohen and Fisher first connected at a party in Sydney in 2001. They were married on March 15, 2010.
