Saga of Tanya the Evil is an anime series that mixes magic with a story about the First World War and the German army. The story was based on a series of light novels Carlo Zen wrote. The anime’s first season ended a long time ago, in 2017, and it had been two long years since the movie came out (via Anime News Network). In June 2021, Kadokawa put out the first trailer for the second season of the popular anime, which was going to be made and released soon.
The only other trailer announced was a short voice-over that hinted at the story. Kadokawa didn’t say anything about when this long-awaited project might come out. Anime usually takes about two years to make, so Season 2 of “Saga of Tanya the Evil” might not come out until 2022, at least in Japan. Subtitled or dubbed releases in English might take even longer. At the end of the movie “2019,” Tanya quits her job researching to take a command position on the front lines. This was to test the combined arms tactics research she had been doing.
