One UI 5.0’s initial public beta was supposed to release in July, but there was a slight delay. It has finally here, and a steady rollout has begun, starting with the S22 series in Germany, which includes the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. The firmware is a S90xBXXU2ZHV4 version. Along with Samsung’s own innovations, One UI 5.0 offers the new features that are a part of Android 13.
Smoother animations and a revamped notification center will improve the user experience. You may copy text from screenshots thanks to the Gallery’s activated Optical Character Recognition feature. Additionally, certain intelligent suggestions depending on the text will show up. For instance, taking a picture of a phone number or a website address will allow you to call or visit with a single tap.

In Pro mode, the camera app now displays a histogram. The telephoto lens has Food mode turned on, and a new zoom bar makes it possible to zoom in with just one hand. With the help of a watermarking feature, you may add user-defined information such as the time and date to each image.
Additionally enhanced is Samsung DeX, particularly the taskbar. A calendar widget is displayed when you tap the date, and there is a new search button there.
