Saskia Hamilton Obituary

Unfortunately, Sasika Hamilton, a talented and wise teacher, reader, and writer, d!ed away on June 7, 2023. Her passing upset and horrified her family, friends, and workplace.

She is most known for her work on the novels Corridor (Graywolf Press), As for Dream (Graywolf Press), Canal Arc, and Divide These. Saskia was the subject of a song with the same name on the album Lonely Avenue by Ben Folds and Nick Hornby from 2010.

Although Sasika’s cause of death is unknown, social media platforms were inundated with condolences and well wishes once the word of her passing spread. Sasika’s passing was initially reported by Graywolf Press, who also wrote a moving obituary for her.
