American pop/rock singer-songwriter Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989. She has a diverse record, and her narrative composition, which is often based on her own experiences, has garnered both critical acclaim and extensive media attention. Swift went to Nashville, Tennessee when she was 14 years old from her hometown of West Reading, Pennsylvania so that she could pursue a career in country music.
Both Fearless (2008) and Speak Now (2010), Swift’s subsequent albums, explored country pop. The former achieved historical firsts with their tracks “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me,” which topped the US pop and all-genre airplay charts, respectively. In 2012, she released Red, a rock and electronic album that included her first US Billboard Hot 100 number-one single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” In 2014, she released 1989, a synth-pop album that was supported by the hit singles “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” and “Bad Blood,” marking a shift in her musical identity from country to pop.

Scooter Braun Sees Feud With Taylor Swift As Lesson
Scooter Braun is prepared to give his side of the story in his very public spat with Taylor Swift, which has lasted for years. For a new interview, the record executive sat down with NPR and discussed the conflict that many of Swift’s fans talk about to this day.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Braun’s company bought Swift’s old label, Big Machine Records, in 2019. As a result, the record company executive became the sole owner of Swift’s first six studio albums. Swift said he had been “bullying” her for years after the news broke.
In a recent interview with NPR, Braun was questioned whether or not he would have approached the acquisition in a different way given the chance to do so. And he admitted there was something he would alter if given the chance. “Yes, I certainly would have. The 41-year-old man added, “That taught me a valuable lesson.”
Braun noted in the interview that he was limited in what he could say about the contract before it was finalized because of a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) he signed while in negotiations with Big Machine Records. According to Braun, he discovered via talking to the owner of the record label that Swift was uninterested in pursuing a master’s degree.
I told him, “Hey if any of the artists want to come back and buy into this, you’ve got to let me know. The artist you’re thinking of wrote an open letter saying things like “I don’t want to participate in my masters,” and he gave it to me. For various reasons, I’ve chosen not to go through with this transaction. In other words, that’s the impression I was given,” he stated.
But Swift claims that she actively sought to own her master’s rights. Unfortunately, Big Machine insisted that in order for her to do so, she would need to remain under their management and, with each subsequent album, pay a fee to the label for the rights to release it.
As it turned out, she rejected that offer and instead signed with a rival record label. As soon as the purchase was finalized, Braun says he began calling the label’s artists to let them know he was now a part of the team.
