An American reality television programme called Sister Wives debuted on TLC on September 26, 2010. Father Kody Brown, his four wives (Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn), and their 18 children are all featured in the show, which follows their polygamous family’s existence until it ultimately becomes monogamous in later seasons.
After starting the series in Lehi, Utah, the family then relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2011 and, in the middle of 2018, to the unincorporated township of Baderville, Arizona (northwest of Flagstaff, Arizona).
According to Brown and his four wives, they took part in the programme to dispel conventional stereotypes and increase public awareness of polygamist homes. Brown claims that his polygamous lifestyle is acceptable because he is only officially wed to one woman, Robyn, and has “spiritual unions” with Meri, Janelle, and Christine.

Sister Wives Seoson 17 Release Date
The season 17 premiere date for Sister Wives has officially dropped… literally.
PEOPLE can exclusively announce that season 17 of Sister Wives will premiere Sept. 11 on TLC.
Yes, there is! In the suspenseful Sister Wives Season 17 trailer, Christine is seen notifying the family that she is divorcing Kody after 25 years of marriage, with clips of everyone struggling to accept her choice flashing in the background.
While Kody claims that by her leaving, “The message that we had to the world about functional polygamy seems so dysfunctional today,” Christine tells cameras that she believes Kody cares more for Robyn (his fourth wife). It’s just a dagger in the kidney, after all the years, the sacrifices I made to love you, he cries at her later in the trailer.

On their expansive home in Phoenix, Arizona, the Brown family struggled to reach a decision over how to handle the COVID-19 epidemic in Sister Wives season 16. After Kody established stringent guidelines regarding each wife distancing from one another and even himself, Christine and Janelle were pitted against Kody and Robyn Brown.
Christine and Janelle constantly crossed paths, and when she finally snapped, she divorced Kody after more than 25 years of marriage.Kody and Meri discussed their nonexistent physical connection during the first segment of the Sister Wives season 16 Tell-All. It also showed Robyn acting devastated by Christine’s departure from the family, which many fans sensed was fake.
While Kody’s relationship with Robyn remains solid, many fans think his other marriages will likely end soon too. The kids had been a part of the reunion in past seasons, and many fans wished they would be again, especially since they are all older now and probably had more to say.
Gabriel and Garrison Brown should be on this Sister Wives Tell-All, especially since it was discovered that Kody hadn’t even been talking to them. It would also be intriguing to learn more about Ysabel’s perspective on her dad’s decision to skip the spinal surgery after witnessing it unfold on television.
Fans also believed that Kody and the four wives were just revealing half the truths. Their youngsters may have provided more truthful responses in the interim. Fans of Sister Wives thought that the Tell-All had largely focused on rehashing old issues rather than adding anything new.
