Here we are talking about Star Wars Andor Season 2 Release Date; after the first season of Andor completely blew our minds and turned into one of the best things to ever emerge from the Star Wars universe, we’re going to be riding the hype train for this Star Wars series for quite a while. It’s time to look forward to season 2 of the science fiction series now that season 1 is ended.
Cassian Andor, who you might recognise from the Star Wars film Rogue One, is followed in the streaming service show as he carves out a place for himself among the Rebellion and starts to rebel against the Galactic Empire.
Without any mention of Jedi, Sith, Emperor Palpatine, or even lightsabers, the TV show Andor was a breath of fresh air. It was a fantastic thriller on its terms.
Star Wars Andor Season 2 Release Date: Rumour or Not?
The release date for Star Wars: Andor season 2 is currently unknown, but it had just started development when this article was written in November 2022.
The earliest possible premiere date for Andor season 2 is early 2024, but that’s our best guess. In the worst case, we’ll have to wait until the end of 2024 for the next adventure.

If there is a demand for Andor season 2 to be released sooner, the post-production process may be sped up, but it would be “very, very, very expensive,” according to creator Tony Gilroy in a conversation with Collider.
Star Wars Andor Season 2 Storyline
The second season of Star Wars: Andor has not yet been given a specific title, but we know that it will take place just before Cassian joins the Rebellion on the quest to recover the Death Star’s schematics, as seen in the suspenseful film Rogue One.
When chatting with The Rolling Stone, Tony Gilroy provided some suggestions about what to anticipate from Andor season 2. Gilroy explained that “we come back a year later” in season 2. It will be pretty distinct. According to reports, the second season will occur over four years in Star Wars, with time leaps occurring every three episodes.
Gilroy also hinted that the second season of Andor will be “gratifying” and that Cassian’s role in it will not be that of a revolutionary. It’s about becoming a leader and how challenging it is to form a coalition.
There will likely be a tonne of fresh new people and planets in Andor, implying fantastic new Andor filming sites. The fact that Andor looks so great compared to earlier Star Wars programmes has been one of the first season’s achievements, mainly due to the real-world locations utilised. Hopefully, season 2 will continue in the same vein.
Cast for Star Wars Andor Season 2
No one has been formally confirmed as a member of the Andor cast for season 2, although Diego Luna, who plays the show’s Star Wars role, will undoubtedly return.
We can’t be sure, but considering Lutheran Rael’s significance to the expanding Rebel movement throughout the galaxy, we would presume that Stellan Skarsgrd will also return to the role. Like Mon Mothma plays a significant role in the Star Wars timeline, we’d be shocked if Genevieve O’Reilly didn’t return for season 2.
Dedra Meero and Syril Karn faced defeat when we last saw them, with their backs to the wall. But if we’ve learned anything about these two thus far, they’ll struggle to recover and do whatever it takes to win the war.
Hopefully, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller will reprise their roles as the Star Wars bad guys the next time around. Of course, the cast will also include several surprises and fresh faces. Given this, we anticipate some fantastic Star Wars cameos to appear throughout Andor season 2.
How Many Episodes Will be There in Star Wars Andor Season 2?
We know that Andor season 2 will have 12 episodes, just like the first. However, that will be the end, and the third season of Andor is not likely to be produced.
