The fifth season of Strike had not been officially renewed Until now. On the other hand, a fifth episode of the television series is now looking like a strong possibility, as J.K. Rowling (writing under the pen name Robert Galbraith) is planning to publish the fifth book in the Cormoran Strike series on September 15, 2020.
Since there is no confirmation yet that there will be the fifth series of Strike and the fifth book in the series has not yet been published at the time this article was written, there is currently no release date for Strike series 5.
On the other hand, if we consider series 4, the book version of Lethal White was published in September 2018, but the television series didn’t premiere until August 2020, about two years later. If Troubled Blood follows the same pattern as other shows, the fifth season might not appear until August or September of 2022 at the earliest.
