Succession has taken over as everyone’s favorite program to speak about, and after Season 3 and the fight between Jeremy Strong’s Kendall Roy and his father Logan Roy (played by Brian Cox), it left viewers with lots of concerns for season 4. The last we saw, the Roy siblings were left utterly without the support of their father and were actually fighting back against Logan for once instead of doing everything he wanted. So with Season 4, it can be assumed that there will be plenty more treachery where that all came from.
In a good sign for the fans, it appears the scripts for season two have nearly been completed! “We’ve almost finished scripting Season 4,” Georgia Pritchett tweeted alongside a photo of Succession actress J. Smith-Cameron (who portrays Gerri on the program) with the caption “Straight Outta Waystar.” “Too Much Birthday,” one of Pritchett’s series highlights, revealed how much Kendall Roy was hurting by being cut apart from his family.

Succession Season 4 Storyline
Despite the fact that the premise of Season 4 cannot be confirmed, the Season 3 conclusion gave a good indicator of where this story will go. The three Roy children (sorry, Connor) are expected to form a unified front in Season 4 and beyond. They’ve all come to their own conclusions about Logan, and now it’s time to bring him down. Daddy has made it clear that he doesn’t care about Roman’s feelings (sorry, Roman) and only cares about his own interests.
There should be plenty of backstabbing, lying, and vengeance in Season 4, but we’d prefer if it was directed at the proper individuals. Due to Tom’s blindside, one of the show’s most crucial partnerships is going to fall apart (sorry, Shiv). Shiv may have played stupid in the last seconds of the season finale, but we doubt she’ll be able to maintain her act through the premiere of Season 4. We can hope that the conclusion was misleading and that Tom did not reveal anything to Logan. Most likely not, but who cares?

Season 4 could witness Kendall’s redemption in other ways (sorry, not sorry). No one on “Succession” has been through more ups and downs than the kinda-eldest Roy son, and no one has the support of the fans more. Is he going to be the next king of Waystar? Is this acquisition going to happen? Is Greg going to be crowned Grand Duke of Luxembourg?

Succession Season 4 Release Date
Succession will return to HBO in 2021 for the fourth season, the network has announced. It’s unfortunate that the network hasn’t yet set a release date for Season 4. A debut in late 2022 or early 2023 is more likely based on previous seasons than on the current schedule.
Succession Season 4 Trailer
There’s no Season 4 trailer or teaser yet, but Season 3 just ended in December 2021, so give it time. We’ll post here when we see one!
Conclusion
That’s the best part of the season coming to an end: Because of this, everyone is free to behave in whatever way they see fit, with no regard for the existing order of command (and as several characters on Succession have insisted, no matter how many lives are on the line, this is still a game). Even when they were actively resisting him, he’s taken away the one thing that held his family together, even when they were actively resisting him. That’s an intriguing thought: Could Logan ever be reduced to the status of a mere player?
