The family of a young man who went missing on Christmas Eve in La Jolla Cove pleads with authorities to find him. 19-year-old Jeremy Taylor Howard vanished on Christmas Eve morning. When his brother-in-law turned away for a little while that day, Howard was at the Cove with his sister’s spouse.
Police have been looking for the teen ever since that day. Sadie Oliver, his sister, revealed that Jeremy was spending three months in San Diego but was scheduled to return to his native Seattle on Christmas Eve.

Oliver claimed her husband, and Jeremy had been at the Cove that day to observe the waves and seals. When her husband returned after a ten-minute absence, Howard had vanished. According to Oliver, when they weren’t arguing, her brother would not have taken off because he depended on them.
It was a busy day at the Cove when he vanished, and Oliver is hopeful someone saw anything. Lifeguards have been scouring the neighboring water for several days in the meanwhile.
Oliver remarked, “They’ve already conducted so many underwater searches. They arrived with nothing at all. Additionally, he can swim. Because of this, the water disturbed me for the first few days. However, after so many dives, there was only so far you could have traveled in a short period of time if you had fallen into the water or someone had noticed you.”
Howard is described as a 6-foot, 160-pound male with brown eyes, sparse to no facial hair, and short, dark brown hair. On the top of his right forearm, he has a cross tattoo with the word “faith” written beneath it. He has a tattoo named “Rashia” on his left forearm.
