According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the passenger was a 15-year-old female who was dressed in tactical gear. During the shootout, she was hit while attempting to exit the vehicle. Later, she passed away at a hospital.
Official identification of the dead girl, according to sheriff’s deputies, will be provided later by the county coroner. On Tuesday, a local called 911 to report sighting the culprit and the 15-year-old girl at the focus of an Amber Alert in a white truck near Barstow. This sparked the turmoil that followed.

The 2017 Nissan the suspect was last seen driving matched the truck’s description, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Around 11:15 a.m., the California Highway Patrol started pursuing the car. The suspect, 45-year-old Anthony John Graziano, fired at deputies when they arrived at the scene in response to that call.
Later, officials claimed that he was “constantly” shooting. In Hesperia, the car “got inoperable.” The cause of the car’s breakdown was not immediately disclosed. Graziano and the deputies got into a “fire war,” according to the officials. Police opened fire on the truck, hitting Graziano.
Savannah Graziano exited the truck during the shootout while covered in tactical gear and raced in the direction of the deputies. In the firefight, she was hurt. According to the SBCSD, Savannah was brought to the hospital by first responders from the San Bernardino County Fire Department while Anthony Graziano passed away. At the hospital, she passed away.

Additionally, he was rumored to be donning some form of tactical gear. Soon after the pursuit came to an end, the CHP Inland division reported that the 15 Freeway had been closed for an undetermined amount of time due to police activities.
While the southbound side of the 15 Freeway remained entirely closed between Bear Valley Road and Joshua Road as of 1 p.m., the northbound side had reopened with a major traffic backlog. The SBCSD has announced that Main Street is currently closed in both directions between Mariposa Road and Key Pointe Drive.
The event is connected to the Amber Alert that was issued on Monday from Fontana following the kidnapping of Savannah by her father during a domestic violence incident.
Authorities claim that Anthony Graziano fatally shot the girl’s mother in front of an elementary school on Cypress Avenue and Mallory Drive. He then escaped the area with Savannah, a 15-year-old. A little after 11:30 a.m., the Amber Alert was turned off.
