According to the coroner’s office,  The lake county coroner is looking into the death of the Purdue quarterback brother Sean O’Connell, the elder brother of Aidan O’Connell, the starting quarterback at Purdue University.

The results of the autopsy, which was finished on Monday, are pending toxicology investigations, according to the coroner’s statement to NBC 5, “however at this point the death appears to be from natural causes connected to heart difficulties.”

In a statement made on Sunday, Aidan O’Connell said that his brother had passed away. Aidan O’Connell, a 2017 graduate of Lincolnshire’s Adlai Stevenson High School, said he and his family are “very grieved to share of the demise of my oldest brother, Sean” in a message shared on Twitter by Purdue Football.

“We value your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and trust that the Lord will give us courage and hope. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord, we proclaim with Job.”
